Serpentines & Tilt Shift Photography

Well Emily blew out (we think) her serpentine belt. I peaked under the hood and there was definitely a belt missing. So we dropped it off at Pep Boys to get fixed tomorrow. She’ll be a $130 lighter in the pocket though.
So I stumbled upon a tutorial for editing photos to make them look like the photo is taken of a model. They call it tilt shift photography. I attempted it here but I’m not sure how well it turned out. You be the judge.

It looks like it foreshortens the focus… ?

Nah it just blurs things based on the distance from a specified point. Google tilt-shift tutorial and I’m sure you’ll find hundreds of links to how it is done.
