Well I haven’t used this guy in forever. It’s been (over) two years to be exact. And 2013 is flying by all ready. I can’t believe it’s the 29th all ready. January is gone pretty much. It has had some crazy weather. I’m curious to see what February and the rest of 2013 will bring.

Time for a new hairdo
Tuesday, December 14th, 2010I was chilling with Abe (that is short for Ag Bug) yesterday wondering what to do. He was pretty restless himself. He was tooling around with the idea of sporting a new ‘do. I helped him out. I was particularly enthusiastic when he said “Give me a fucking Mohawk!” That’s all it took and away I went with my clippers and razor.
More Panoramas
Thursday, September 9th, 2010Red Bull Flugtag wasn’t terribly exciting but still made for a good way to kill some time. It coulda been worse but coulda been better too.
The Stephen Udvar-Hazy Museum was pretty awesome though.
I really wasn’t taking pictures but decided to take some and make more panoramas. Enjoy.

Panoramania
Friday, August 13th, 2010I tried to not just take boring normal pictures. Sadly, it’s harder to see if your test image was under or overexposed on the tiny LCD when the sun is blasting you. Not too bad though. Made for some cool pics. Too bad the panorama from the port came out as screwed up as it did. I also am working on one from inside the church closer to the altar. I doubt I’ll be able to save it though

Back in the saddle again…er for a second or two
Monday, June 28th, 2010I had a blast at Mike Budde’s Wedding.
I may not remember everything but it was a grand ole time.
I know I made an impression with my dancing when at the brunch the day after the wedding everyone goes, “Hey there’s the Dancer!!” Yikes or Hooray.
If I ever get ahold of more incriminating evidence I’ll be sure to pass it on before burning it.
IM Kickball is going on. We won our first game today. I have impeccable form.
Just look at me ready to strike!
At least I manage to keep my shoes on…
My roommate Carson wasn’t so lucky. I feel like this si something that Chris would do. Not really a knock against you CDK, but I know I’ve seen you only do this about a million times.
(if I ever get my act together I’ll fix the column width so the dang pictures don’t fly off the sides so dang much, but they ain’t serving snow cones in Hell yet so don’t hold your breath on that.)
No rest for the wicked
Sunday, February 28th, 2010Let me see…So last weekend was the Freezing 5k. It was a race to benefit the American Cancer Society. It was a nice day for a run. The temps were in the high 30s and the sun was out. I ran the ~5k in 18:58. I was busting my butt and am pretty happy with that time. Then it was off to do timing for the womens Big Ten swimming and diving championship. That didn’t happen since they had too many volunteers. So another friend of mine just went the pizza and beer place that we always go to on Fridays early.
Saturday was a party one of the guys organized with the women’s club lacrosse team. We had a good time. We didn’t really mingle a whole bunch with the girls though. It was kinda funny. It was water and oil doing some mixing. General shenanigans ensued.
This week I went to a HS in Fairland Indiana and did a little module showing kids about visual analytics. That is supposed to be what our lab does. It beat being in lab. But now I have to catch up on that work.
Friday was a long day. I was up at 530 to go and lift at the gym. After doing that and being at school all day I went back to the gym since I was shamed into actually swimming since I really hate that. It was good to get back in the water. I quit a little earlier than the others because I was cramping up. The girl who I was swimming with commented that she can see how since I don’t stick my face in the water. My back and left leg always cramps due to the way I “swim.” Then it was a quick ride home to shower and head out for pizza and beer.
Saturday started out with a workout. Then a party was planned and party supplies were purchased. Then partying was done.
No rest for the wicked.

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010Dare to Bare: Go Ice Skating in as little clothing as one desires.
Ah Good times. And afterwards the Captain celebrated with some Irish Coffee and an Irish Car Bomb!
This weekend I get to look forward to seeing Jesus Christ Superstar on Friday night. Followed by going out with some friends to celebrate the finishing up of some qualifying exams. Next Thurs and Friday I’ll help out for the Big Ten Swim Meet here at Purdue and do some timing of events.
I just realized also that I’ve had my car damn nigh 6yrs! It was Super Bowl Sunday 2004 that I got in the wreck in the Jetta coming back from Christine’s after skiing for the first time. Well 6yrs and 60k miles later I’m in a very different place…although it is still cold this time of year. Until Next Time young listener….
Post Weekend Update
Sunday, January 31st, 2010The etiquette dinner was really good. I learned quite a lot. Here is a tidbit: don’t buy thank you cards on the outside, because what are you going to write on the inside then? I found that interesting.
After the etiquette dinner I met up with some friends at the typical beer and pizza joint. It looked like it was going to be an early night but instead it turned out that I went with Cameron to a bar to hear a band. We ended up running into some other triathlon people that rarely come out so we ended up partying it up with them.
Saturday was the Michael Jackson party. It was a pretty good time. I think I succeeded in my costume. There was also a slight variation to the game Pin the Tail on the Donkey. All in good fun!
